Roberta Ubaldi was born in Terni and lives and works in Narni Scalo (Terni). She graduated as an art teacher from the Orneore Metelli Institute in Terni.

Her curiosity and desire for growth lead her to constantly experiment. After studying and exploring various classical techniques, she gradually developed a distinctive artistic style, characterized by an extreme technical approach and a pared-down color palette, both serving a highly personal form of expression.

Her ongoing exploration of different materials has led her to work with iron sheets, where oxidation caused by the passage of time goes beyond being a mere support and becomes an essential part of the pictorial work itself. Her fascination with the human body inspires representations that, while retaining a deliberately figurative foundation, seem to conceal themselves within a web of oxidized textures.
