Born in Catania in 1977, she graduated in Painting with highest honors from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania in 2002. She lives and works on the slopes of Mount Etna.

Following a brief residency in Berlin, she held her first solo exhibition in 2003, entitled Crossings, curated by Giuseppe Frazzetto. She has since collaborated with curators including Ivan Quaroni, Francesco Piazza, Cristina Costanzo, and Alessandra Redaelli, among others.

Her works are held in several public and private collections, and she is featured in SACS, the Artists’ Archive of Riso – Regional Museum of Contemporary Art of Sicily.

She has exhibited in galleries and museums in Italy and abroad, including the Neapolis – Sykeon Refugee Museum in Thessaloniki, the Riso Museum in Palermo, and the Orestiadi Foundation in Gibellina.

In 2022, her work was also featured at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris in the exhibition À fleur de peau, curated by Angela Ghezzi.
