He was born 1951 in Scoglitti (RG). He studied in the city of Comiso where acquired the certificate of Teacher of Art in plastic decoration at Art School. The next year he moved to Milan where he attended the courses of Francesco Messina at the Academy of Brera and, afterwards, those of Sandro Cerchi to the Albertina in Turin.
In the mid-1970s, he left the academy because of some difficulties encountered, return in Sicily where, together with the work as a carpenter, keeps alive the passion for sculpture.
In recent years he presents two exhibitions, one in Scoglitti to the Church of San Francesco, and the other in Ragusa at the Galleria Il Conference. He also intensifies his juvenile inclination to the desing and drawing, with his partecipation in several exhibitions in the iblea province.
