He was born in Syracuse in 1974, he graduated from the Art Institute of Syracuse in 1993. Later that year he moved to Venice to study painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. In the period from 1994 to 1996 he joined the Group a Thousand, exhibiting in various group (80 ° collective, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Venice; Sacher and profane, Galleria Crossing, Portogruaro-Udine; Never trains were so hung, Saint Lucia station in Venice; the mustache on the Mona Lisa, Artefiera, Pordenone).

 Then she takes part in a workshop at Palazzo Carminati, at the invitation of the curator Chiara Bertola who, under the coordination of Heirs Brancusi Group, he held an exhibition at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice (Take me home, Electa catalog).

In 1997 he obtained a scholarship to study at the Middlesex University Fine Art in London. It is thanks to this research stay that later will complete his academic studies, focusing on the paintings of Francis Bacon. In 1998 he collaborates with Accademia Luigi Viola Working in classroom 2 - 8.6.1998. That same year participates in the coordinated collective Indoor 3 (Check out this look at version 2.0, Forte Marghera-Venice), from which follows a comparison between painting and poetry (Piero Roccasalvo, Isabella Doro, Cristina Alaimo versus Tiziano Scarpa).

In the academic year 1999-2000 has been teaching painting techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts Giotto di Modica. It has also worked on graphics for publishing and advertising. It is of the very first nineties the key meeting for the RUB pictorial experimentation with filmmaker and writer Mauro Aprile Zanetti, with whom he has been developing a vibrant and fervent union between art, publishing, experimental film, video and theater. In 2011 he was invited to exhibit at the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale, the Sicilian Pavilion at Montevergini Civic Gallery, Syracuse.
