He was born in Erice in 1978. He graduated from the Art Institute of Sciacca and later he moved to Palermo to study decoration and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts where he graduated with honors.
He lives and works between Sciacca and Palermo.

My art is a medium of investigation, reflection and communication; I am interested in the man and reality, identity and the stories told by the things and images.
In the recent series (un)memories, Somebody’s portraitsand AnThROPOS, I'm working on the loss of identity and memory, starting from old photos of unknown people. Previous works investigating the identity and memory related to a non-places, buil- dings and objects in neglect.
I don’t want to limit myself strictly in techniques or styles, which only are means, that it is also possible to modify, hybridize or leave, according to the expressive needs. My current research is mainly figurative, but a conceptual representation, the thought behind a work is most important than the image itself.
