He was born in Mazzarino (CL) in 1971. He graduated in architecture in 1996 from the University of Palermo. During the years of university he collaborates for several magazines (Giornale di Sicilia, Sicily, Stilos). In parallel to the architect creates comics for some publishing houses (Paruzzo Publisher, The Capital Publisher). From 2000 to 2002 he was Director of Studies and Professor of Art History at the Academy of Fine Arts "Giorgio de Chirico" Riesi. Since 2002 he moved permanently to Milan, where he currently lives, to devote himself exclusively to the activity of painter. In 2006 he had his first major exhibition in the space of "Luciano Inga Pin" in Milan. In 2007 he participates in the VI Biennale of St. Petersburg; in 2008 he is among the twenty artists invited to represent the ltaly in the exhibition "Artâthlos" at the XXXIX Olympic Games in Beijing; in 2009 he participates in the Fourth Biennial of Prague; Since 2010 began an exclusive collaboration with the Contini Gallery of Venice. In 2011 he was invited at the Italian Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale. In 2012 Biennial of Contemporary Art Italy-China, Royal Villa of Monza. In 2015 he participated in the exhibition "Treasures of Italy", EXPO 2015, Milan.
By critics and the specialized press is recognized as one of the leaders of the "New Italian Pop" and the group "Italian Newbrow".
