He was born in Moncalieri in 1971. He is a figurative painter who centres much of his work on paintings in oil and acrylic on extremely large canvas, utilizing photographs of his friends or himself. After a diploma from Art school, and a decade of creating designs for an important agency in Turin, he then decided to start a new life in the silence of Roero (CN) in close contact with nature and with his art. His work has been exhibited since 2007 when he was selected for the Premio Arte Mondadori. In 2010 he won the critics prize at Saluzzo Art and created a permanent art exhibit for the Museum of Urban Art in Turin. Leading on from this, his work has formed part of numerous exhibitions, both personal and collective. In 2011 he was chosen for inclusion in the 54 Biennale of Venice, exhibiting inside both the pavillion region of Piemonte, as well as the Pavillions of Italy inTurin, Sala Nervi. He lives and works in Pancalieri. |
