He was born in Marino, in the province of Rome, in 1981. After his studies Art at Marino’s Art Institute, he went on to graduate with top marks from the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara where he specialized in sculpture. Atfer he has achieved the qualification to the teaching of the plastic disciplines at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome. His area of research and artistic production, initiated since the years of the formation, has developed and enriched in the last decade, on thematic of figurative nature, both in the desing and in the sculpture. For sculpture in particular the impressiont the imprint that engraves to the works is revealed by assembling and modeling of recycled materials. Although his style is rooted in the classical tradition, his desire to breathe new life into defunct and cast-off materials gives his works a relevant, postmodern twist. Recently Art Rai has realized a documentary on his job from the title "Ecological Sculpture." His works are placed in public spaces such as the Basilica of Santa Maria in Aracoeli in Rome, the MacS of Catania, the constituent Civic Contemporary Art Collection of Palazzo Simoni Fé of Bienno, the Museum of Contemporary Art Roberto Bilotti in Cosenza. |
