He was born in Siracusa in 1978. In 1998, he began his artistic activity having made various contacts with important artists in the international field like Romano and Giuseppe Maraniello. Between the end of 1998 and 1999, he moved to Florence and then onto Milan, where he attended the Academy of Fine arts of Brera, completing a course in painting with Alberto Garutti, then going on to become his assistant. He then became the assistant in Giuseppe Maraniello’s studio and also followed his course in the Academy of Brera. In Milan, he drew the attention of important art critics such as Alberto Agazzani, Alberto Zanchetta, Stefano Castelli and, thanks to their cooperation, he mixed in circles within the growing movement of young contemporary artists, then collaborating in the realisation of signficant exhibitions, amongst which; Cingolani, Eya, Pinna, Chia and De Paris.More recently, he has collaborated in the curation of exhibits of contemporary art with Arturo Schwarz in Sicily.
